It all started with VA Networking

Usually a serious pre-planner, I woke up the first day after leaving an un-fulfilling job with no plans.  No ideas. A blank slate. Instead of letting panic set in, I logged on to the internet and began searching. Hours turned into days as I surfed the web, traveling further and further down the rabbit hole.

I’m not sure exactly how I got there, but I came across a site that introduced me to the concept of Virtual Assistance – VANetworking.com. I browsed every page on the site, followed every link including those that led to VA businesses…and a dream was born.

I bought a few resources, signed up for the weeklong VA Virtuoso seminar (VAVs) that was joyously only a few short weeks away and began. You know that saying “Start Where you Are?” I did.

But I didn’t start alone, or without incredibly valuable resources at my fingertips on how to build a VA business. VANetworking was with me every step of the way. After attending every session at the online VAVirtuosos conference, I became a member of VA Networking and began browsing every single member forum, gaining more insight with every click. I had the marketable skills necessary to create a viable business, but I gained the confidence and business sense to step out on my own and  to dream BIG about the possibilities for my business.

Today, I am a Virtual Assistant with a full practice, exploring what is the next possibility for my business to grow and thrive. I am blessed to have built a business that allows me to work from home, make a great living, and fulfill my creative desires. It all started with VA Networking – to whom I will be forever grateful.

If you are considering a career as a Virtual Assistant, bring your talents and start where you are, but don’t forget to visit and join VA Networking (And enroll in VAVs) to gather the tools that you absolutely need to succeed.
